Proof & methodology

Consulting sites are full of numbers nobody can check. This page explains exactly what is measured, where it comes from, and what is deliberately not shown here yet.

Every quantitative claim on this site follows the same four-step verification process: a written baseline is recorded before work begins, results are read from a named client system such as Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, a quick-commerce partner dashboard or the brand’s own P&L, contribution margin is preferred over revenue or platform-reported ROAS, and any external factor that also moved the number is stated alongside it. Claims that cannot clear all four steps stay in the withheld register below and never appear in page copy or structured data.

How results are measured

  • Baseline first. Every engagement records a written baseline in week one — the metric, its value, the date range and the report it was read from. Without a baseline, no result is claimed later.
  • Named source. Results are read from the client's own systems: Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central reports, Flipkart Seller Hub, quick-commerce partner dashboards, Shopify or WooCommerce exports, or the brand's P&L.
  • Margin over revenue. Where a result is quoted, contribution margin is preferred to revenue or platform-reported ROAS, because the latter two can move without the business improving.
  • Attribution is bounded. Consulting is one input among many. Where seasonality, a funding round or a product launch also moved the number, that is stated rather than absorbed into the claim.

How benchmarks are used

Benchmarks in the calculators and articles are stated as assumptions with the range and the basis shown, not presented as measured industry facts. Platform commission and fee assumptions are taken from published rate cards where available and marked as approximate where they are negotiated per brand. When an assumption cannot be sourced, the tool asks you for the input instead of guessing on your behalf.

How client work is published

Most engagements are confidential. A case study appears here only when the client approves the write-up, or when it can be published anonymously with the brand's consent. Anonymised studies are labelled “Anonymised client engagement” and carry scope, date range, baseline, intervention, result and the measurement source, with identifying details withheld. Illustrative or composite examples are not published as case studies.
